Careers

We’re always on the lookout for brilliant people willing to go the extra mile to deliver the best results for our clients.

At MGA we have an eclectic mix of characters, but we are all united by our deep-rooted curiosity, and a passion for the industry. This is why we don’t have a huge staff turnover.

If that sounds good to you, we’d love to hear from you. Our current vacancies are shown below. You can take a look at the specific job spec or email us about the role you’re interested in.

Are you our next Senior Account Executive?

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a bright, well-rounded and driven Senior Account Executive to join the team. This is ideal for someone who is looking for a new challenge in a busy and demanding agency environment. You will be given real autonomy in your role and the opportunity to grow within the team, and so someone who has a strong work ethic will flourish. You’ll be joining an established team that is growing, and who can also offer support and training to help with your development.

We require that you have a minimum of 18 months experience in a similar role within a creative environment – agency or internal communications experience is a plus – ideally having supported and delivered integrated creative solutions.

Ensuring you are the right fit for the team is essential. We are passionate about what we do and how we do it and are looking for a like-minded person to join the team, so being able to demonstrate the following attributes will be key:

  • Be self-motivated, ambitious and demonstrate a real passion for creativity
  • Be a problem solver – understanding client challenges in varying situations and developing creative solutions that work
  • Demonstrate a real attention to detail – able to prioritise tasks and demonstrate control, enabling the smooth flow of projects, workloads and budgets
  • Have experience in coordinating and delivering integrated communication projects – for both brand and campaign work
  • Ideally, experience in delivering internal communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to bring new thinking, ideas and opinions to better our work

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A NEW TEAM MEMBER:

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • You will need to have experience in client management across a number of accounts. Proven experience in helping support the delivery of a solution to meet a client’s challenge, working with budgets, through to the final delivery of a project.
  • The ability to take a brief from a client and develop this into a succinct creative brief to inform the development of creative solutions.
  • You should be able to build good relationships with the team, our clients and our partners.
  • Attention to detail is a huge must in our world. It’s something our clients rely on us for and on which trust is built. A calm and meticulous approach needs to be shown at all times, with strong skills in proof reading and a good grasp of grammar and spelling.
  • An opinion on creative will always be welcomed and listened to – and in your role it will be crucial to balance this with client requests and with what is feasible.
  • You will need to demonstrate an understanding of brand development and campaign creation to a good level. Whilst we have our own approach, you should already know the fundamentals.
  • A calm and controlled approach to supporting and managing multiple projects and requirements for different clients at any one time will be crucial. Planning the delivery of great work and meeting deadlines will be a daily requirement.
  • An understanding of presenting creative work to clients and managing expectations on a day-to-day basis would be welcome – relevant experience will help you stand out. Whilst virtual communications will be common when liaising with clients, we hold a strong belief in the value of face-to-face meetings.
  • Being commercially astute will support your application for this role as you will support the development of project estimating, invoicing and budgeting across clients.
  • Competency in all MS Office applications is a must.
  • A degree would be preferable but is not essential. Showing how other relevant experience can help you to flourish in this role will be of interest.
