EuroDASS is a consortium comprising Leonardo, Elettronica, Indra and HENSOLDT which provides the integrated Defensive Aids Sub System (DASS) for the Eurofighter Typhoon combat aircraft. Introduced in 2008, the Praetorian system is being upgraded and the consortium needed to visually differentiate the new offering.
What did we find that’s extraordinary? The new system is moving to a fully digital architecture to make it fit for today and tomorrow’s threats.
How we extracted the extraordinary
Leonardo, the lead on the consortium, asked MGA to refresh the system brand identity 10 years after we had originally named and branded both the consortium and the system. After identifying the key characteristics of the upgraded system, we developed a range of logo options, straplines and supporting brand assets that captured some of these advancements. Once the chosen route was refined and finalised, the existing guidelines where updated to reflect the new visual identity to work across a range of marketing collateral.
