At MGA, we believe passionately in nurturing creative talent and helping future ideas people to break into our industry. To this end, we are working closely with London College of Communication (LCC) to support wherever we can.

Over the last couple of years, Colin Goad (our Head of Creative and an LCC alumni) has been providing one-to-one mentoring for a number of students as part of the LCC Industry Mentoring Scheme and this has led to other members of our creative team becoming student mentors. Colin is also taking part in the LCC Industry Experts Roundtable next week, debating the role that design education can play in transforming how students think and act towards one another and the planet.

In addition, we are hoping to host our first Studio Tour for a number LCC students to come to our offices, meet the wider team and experience a creative agency in action. This will include portfolio review sessions and group discussions.

Luminita Molico, Graduate Engagement Manager at London College of Communication, said, “London College of Communication, UAL is pleased to be working with MGA, a company with which we share a common set of core values and commitment to helping future generations of creative practitioners succeed. As a College with a strong history of industry links, we are always striving to offer students not only the best possible educational experience, but also to jumpstart their careers and enterprises after graduation. This is part of our ongoing effort of forging strong links with creative industry leaders whilst placing the College at the centre of the debate about the future of design and communication.”

Damien Millns, MGA Group CEO, added, “we believe passionately in supporting the creative thinkers of tomorrow and want to help where we can. The enthusiasm and talent of the students that we have met is infectious and hopefully we can play our part in inspiring them to make great strides in the industry we all love.”
