Whilst the UK is considered one of Airbus’ four home nations, in some circles the company is still perceived as mostly French and German. To help emphasise the commitment of the organisation to the UK, and its importance to the British economy, Airbus had commissioned an independent report into its economic impact, to provide supporting evidence.

What did we find that was extraordinary? Airbus’s contribution to the UK economy is huge – much larger than some people think.

How we extracted the extraordinary

Using key findings from the independent report, we generated a high impact integrated campaign that was built around a series of statements outlining the crucial role that Airbus plays in the UK and underpinned by a central campaign line of Instrumental to the British Economy for more than 40 years. This was all illustrated with associated aircraft instruments and supported by hard data. We used these elements across various internal and external channels – including targeted outdoor and print, social media, dedicated web pages, event dressing and collateral.
