Gatsby Africa wanted to capture and effectively showcase the essence of GA’s culture and how this was supported through benefits and opportunities within role to existing and new employees. A new Employee Value Proposition (EVP) was central to achieving this which could then inform a campaign built around a Culture Playbook with additional assets to reinforce key messages.
What did we find that was extraordinary? Gatsby Africa stand out in the world of development – their unique set up, focus on sector transformation and investment in their people allow employees to thrive and grow their careers.
How we extracted the extraordinary
Anchored by a clear central statement and a distinctive look and feel, we developed an EVP that not only inspired and engaged current employees, but also conveyed Gatsby Africa’s culture and values to prospective talent. This EVP was designed to help employees at all levels to thrive and reach their full potential within their career at GA. By balancing ambition with authenticity, the EVP positioned Gatsby Africa as a place where people can do impactful work while developing long, fulfilling careers. In doing so, it reinforced a shared sense of identity and pride across the organisation.
To amplify recruitment efforts, we produced compelling comms that raised external awareness and delivered consistent, attractive messaging for both recruiters and candidates. Supporting materials included a new Culture Playbook, onboarding and career documents, an EVP animation, digi screens, lockscreens, intranet and email banners, and physical items such as posters, flyers, stickers, and table talkers.
