To support their ambitious growth plans and elevate the organisation, the decision was made to relocate the Head Office to Central London. The new location offers better transport links, closer proximity to stakeholders, and access to top industry talent. But this transition also meant change for employees, making clear, timely communication essential.

What did we find that was extraordinary? The move presents increased opportunities and growth for both the organisation and its employees. We needed to bring everyone on the journey, keeping them informed, engaged and supported throughout.

How we extracted the extraordinary

To future-proof the organisation and support their strategic goals, relocating the Head Office was essential, but represented a big change for all. We were asked to create an internal communications campaign that raised awareness and engaged with employees. Our communications needed to be sympathetic to the audience, whilst also striking a balance between ensuring employees had been given all the relevant information and direction on what actions they needed to complete to ensure a smooth office transition.

Inspired by the London Underground map, we developed a creative concept that visually represented travelling to the final destination – the new office – with each stop representing a key milestone along the journey. This ensured employees could easily identify, understand and action all in a timely manner.

The concept was brought to life through an interactive tube map that was housed on the client’s intranet, a printed installation that was displayed in the client’s canteen for use during ‘drop-in sessions’, and a series of emails and digital screens.
