Serco employs over 50,000 people, managing over 500 major contracts worldwide. At any point, if a member of staff needs to raise an issue at work, the company has an extensive network of experts on hand to offer support. But there was a clear need to better communicate where to get help and encourage employees to act.
What did we find that’s extraordinary? If concerns are not raised, however small, they can manifest into much bigger problems – so take action.
How we extracted the extraordinary
We devised a high impact creative campaign aimed at all employees in every region that Serco operates. The campaign concept was built around a key message – If you feel it, say it – and the use of everyday ‘Emojis’ to convey the notion of how people might feel about their concerns if not addressed. Multiple channels were used including video, posters, digital banners and specific manager communications. And, given the scale of the requirement globally, we produced over 1,000 different pieces of collateral in 6 different languages.
