Solmar Villa Holidays is an award-winning, luxury villa holiday provider. They’ve been successfully operating within the travel industry for over 30 years and to mark this milestone, they embarked on their biggest TV campaign to date and needed an impactful commercial to grab audience attention.
What did we find that was extraordinary? Solmar pride themselves on putting their guest experience at the heart of everything they do and the commercial was the perfect medium to reinforce this.
How we extracted the extraordinary
Harnessing the brand tone of voice work we had recently completed, we set about identifying several USPs that would form the basis of the TV commercial script. We adopted a question and answer format, ensuring we included a memorable payoff to reinforce the brand name through alliteration – ‘That’s so Solmar.’
Showcasing a series of their luxury villas interspersed with lifestyle imagery, we crafted a high-impact TV commercial that launched on Boxing Day across the UKTV Play network, and included prime-time TV slots on Channel 4. We also developed a series of social media edits that appeared across Facebook and Instagram.
