Our most recent internal campaigns for Serco have just been launched to help employees with any concerns in the business. Whilst neatly dovetailing, the campaigns focus on two separate communication streams. The first focuses on helping employees deal with a wide range of concerns in the workplace and provides information about who to talk to, whilst the second focuses specifically on helping those with concerns around serious breaches of the Serco code of conduct.

It’s important to Serco that their employees feel confident to discuss any concerns that they have and that they are given confidential and anonymous ways of raising these. Therefore, the need for impactful employee engagement communications to raise awareness of the help that is available is paramount.

The two campaigns were developed together, but each has a distinct look and feel and a set of integrated communications, including a central portal on their intranet and an animation explaining the process, as well as posters and interactive brochures – all translated into 7 core languages.

It’s been a great project to be involved in, working closely with Serco’s Ethics and Compliance team to ensure the content and communications provide employees with clear direction around sensitive subject matters. We look forward to seeing the results of the campaigns and building on the launch materials in the coming months.
