Things are certainly heating up, and we’re not just talking about the weather…for a change…as that’s been the focal point of most conversations for the past few months! But no, we’re talking all-things work related for both MGA and Two Tails Productions.
Lights. Camera. Action. In May, Olivier and Sarah, the production crew and actors made their way over to Eindhoven and Amsterdam for an epic week of on-location filming. This was for season 2 of our Netflix-style, ‘bingeworthy’ video learning series for our health tech client. It was a full-on, jam-packed week, but we feel so incredibly lucky to deliver Ethics & Compliance training in an authentic, creative and engaging way that truly resonates with employees. Filming of season 2 wrapped in early June, once shooting of the unpack had been completed, and we’ve just delivered all films in 9 additional languages ready for a Q4 launch, aiming to build on our award-winning work from season 1.
And talking of award-winning, Damien, Andrew and the team attended this year’s ICA Awards evening, where our work with Philips and LIPTON Teas and Infusions was shortlisted. It was a great night, with us scooping up awards in the following categories:
➡️ Compliance Culture & Ethics Initiative of the Year for our work with LIPTON Teas and Infusions; and
➡️ Training Initiative of the Year – Non Financial services for our work with Philips
But the award wins don’t stop there, because at the beginning of July the team attended the Internal Communications & Engagement Awards. The ICE Awards is always a fantastic evening with likeminded people celebrating creativity in internal comms. And we’re so proud of all we’ve achieved working with our wonderful clients at Philips and Knight Frank. Now for the results…
Philips🥇 GOLD: Best Internal Communications from the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Sector 🥈 SILVER: Video and Animation 🥉 BRONZE: Best Use of Storytelling
Knight Frank🥉 BRONZE: Best Internal Communications Campaign: Large business over 10,000 employees 🥉 BRONZE: Best Internal Communications from the Property, Construction and Facilities Management Sector
And then finally, we recently received news that we’ve been shortlisted for our EVP work for London Gatwick at this year’s Employer Brand Management Awards in two categories: ‘Best Alignment of the Employer Value Proposition with Corporate Brand Values’ and ‘Best Employer Brand Management from the Sports, Travel, Leisure and Tourism Sector’. Fingers crossed!
And now it’s time to buckle up for what has been an incredible quarter for Two Tails Productions…
During the May Bank Holiday weekend, the Two Tails team helped ZSL celebrate its landmark 200th birthday with a family activation delivered across ZSL London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. Marking 200 years since the founding of the world’s oldest scientific zoo, the experience transformed dedicated event spaces into vibrant birthday celebrations. Working closely with ZSL, our team took the project from ideation through to build, installation and live delivery. We reimagined classic fairground games with bespoke animal and 200th birthday theming, alongside creating an original performer-led stage programme featuring Zoo-robics, Animal Party, The Big Zoo Quiz and Zoo’s Got Talent.
Two Tails were also proud to support the family engagement experience for Henry Moore: Monumental Nature at Kew Gardens, the largest outdoor exhibition of Moore’s sculptures ever presented. Working alongside the Kew team, we delivered the fabrication and installation of a series of interactive trail elements, including tactile experiences, sound installations and perception games, encouraging younger visitors to engage with Moore’s iconic sculptures through play.
We’ve also been working alongside Liz Pichon and the RBG Kew team to bring the wonderful world of Tom Gates to life at Kew’s Royal Botanic Gardens. We designed and built a playful, interactive experience featuring large-scale doodle and colouring walls, creative photo opportunities and hands-on activities designed to encourage children to unleash their imagination and make their own mark. The installation is now open at Kew, inviting families to step into Tom’s brilliantly chaotic world and get creative together.
To mark Murphy’s 75th anniversary, Two Tails Productions partnered with the Murphy team to develop and deliver a diverse programme of celebrations that honoured the company’s heritage while looking firmly to the future. Spanning employee engagement, client hospitality, and brand storytelling, the year-long programme brought the Murphy story to life through nationwide roadshows, internal pop-up and award ceremony events, and the flagship MurphyFest festival held at Warwick Castle. By creating a cohesive suite of experiences rather than standalone events, we helped Murphy celebrate its people, strengthen its culture, engage partners and amplify its brand – demonstrating how live experiences can deliver lasting impact far beyond the event itself.
We’re delighted to collaborate with English Heritage to deliver The Great British Summer across 18 historic and iconic heritage sites nationwide. Inspired by the nostalgia of the traditional British seaside holiday, we designed and fabricated a suite of visitor experiences, including welcome signage, Punch and Judy-inspired puppet theatres, colourful photo opportunities and family sand play areas. Our teams managed fabrication, logistics, delivery, build and installation, coordinating the rollout across the 18 nationwide sites including Stonehenge, Dover Castle, Battle Abbey, Kenilworth Castle, Osborne, Whitby Abbey and Audley End.
And if you’ve managed to make it this far, we applaud you! Now, let’s have some more of the same for Q3, minus the heatwaves…
